APPSC Group 2 Mains Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates will only be admitted to the Main exam after having passed all the Prelims exam. In the main exam, you will consist of three questions, all exams will be objective questions. Each paper will be worth 150 marks.

The main exam will have 450 marks in total. The length of each test is 150 minutes (2 hours and 30 minutes). The format for the main exam is as follows.

APPSC Group 2 Exam Selection Process

The process for selecting candidates to take exam APPSC Group II exam will be conducted in the following manner.

  1. Prelims Exam: Candidates be required to take the Prelims exam first. After having passed the Prelims Exam, they are eligible to sit for taking the main Exam. The marks from Prelims Exam are not included in the final score. Prelims Exam are not added to the final score of candidates.

2. Main Exam: Candidates who successfully passed the preliminary exam are eligible to appear to the main Exam. Candidates must pass both tests to pass the next phase.

3. Interview: After you have passed your Prelims Exam and the Main Exam there will be an interview for candidates. The final decision is made based on the merits of Exam Main Exam and the interview.
